Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

I’m not a new patient, I’ve been coming to see Dr. Taj consistently for around 2 years with no problems. Today I had a dilemma, my crown broke off while having breakfast. With my crown wrapped in tissue I called Dentists of Stone Oak & Orthodontics to see if they had a same day appointments. They were able to accommodate me quickly. Dental assistant Sam was so bubbly and friendly and I’m never disappointed by Dr. Taj’s professionalism. The front desk ladies are always pleasant & nice and I appreciate how they go above & beyond to work out insurance payments that are light on my wallet. Keep up the great job.
